Authorities in Kenya have refused to confirm reports that a Northern Irish woman and a number of American citizens are among the suspects arrested in the Westgate shopping mall in Nairobi.
It follows speculation that Samantha Lewthwaite, who is originally from Banbridge in Co. Down was among the militants.
Ms Lewthwaite is the widow of one of the London bombers who blew himself up in the July 7th attacks in 2005.
She has been traced to Kenya, where it's reported she's been living with her three children.
Authorities in Nairobi say the siege at the Westgate complex is now over, and that five militants have been killed
President Uhuru Kenyatta said that 61 civilians and six security officers were killed during the attack by Al Shabbab militants.
President Kenyatta said several bodies are trapped under rubble after three floors of the mall collapsed after a fire yesterday.
Some 175 people were injured in the attack - 62 people are still being treated in hospital.
Three days of national mourning have been declared in Kenya.
