The boxer has now secured at least a silver medal and is through to the Olympic final on Sunday, where she will fight Brazil’s Ferreira Beatriz.

Kellie Harrington said afterwards, regardless of the colour of the medal, it’s great to make people smile.
Ireland has now secured one gold, at least a silver and two bronze at the Olympic Games.
