Controversial commentator Katie Hopkins is being deported from Australia after boasting about planning to breach the country's coronavirus rules.
She originally flew to Sydney to appear on Big Brother, but got sacked during the required 2-week quarantining in a hotel, when she joked online about breaking restrictions.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, the 46 year old reportedly said she was deliberately disobeying quarantine rules by opening her hotel room door without a mask and taunting guards.
Australian Home Affairs Minister, Karen Andrews says her behaviour was unacceptable.
"I thought it was just shameful"
"The fact that she was out there boasting about breaching quarantine, was just appalling. It was a slap in the face to all those Australians who are currently in lockdown. So personally, I'm very please she'll be leaving."
