Just 1 in 10 Irish people believe they'll find love through a dating app.
A new survey carried out by Havas Dublin shows this is far less than the global average, where half of the people believe they can swipe their way to a partner.
However, 85% of Irish people believe true love still exists.
These people say they would prefer to wait to find the right partner than commit to someone too early who they may not see a long-term future with.
In fact, 70% of Irish people would rather be alone than feel unfulfilled with a partner.
