The television programme Judge Judy is set to end next year.
Judy Sheindlin has confirmed in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres that the courtroom show will finish following its 25th season.

She says the network behind the show has opted to show reruns of older episodes instead of making new ones.
Sheindlin says she will begin working on a new show entitled Judy Justice.
