Elon Musk has decided to reinstate the Twitter accounts of several high-profile journalists, after a huge backlash.
The platform's owner claimed they were revealing his private jet's location in real time - saying it was 'basically assassination coordinates' for his family.
The information is freely available over the location of private jets, and was published through an automated Twitter account.
The people have spoken.
Accounts who doxxed my location will have their suspension lifted now. https://t.co/MFdXbEQFCe

The suspensions triggered a strong global reaction.
Earlier, UN spokesman Stéphane Dujarric described the move as disturbing.
"Media voices should not be silenced on a platform that professes to be a space of freedom of speech.
"From our standpoint, the move sets a dangerous precedent."
