The Cuckoo's Calling, a critically-acclaimed crime novel published earlier this year, has shot to the top of the Amazon bestsellers chart after it was revealed that JK Rowling wrote it under a pseudonym.
The detective book was published under the name of newcomer Robert Galbraith, with critics calling it a "scintillating debut" and praising the apparently male author's ability to describe women's clothes.
Commenting on the news this morning, Harry Potter author Rowling said she found the experience "liberating".
