Jack & Sophie Were The Most Popular Baby Names In 2024
Jack and Sophie were the most popular baby names in Ireland last year, according to new data from the Central Statistics Office.
Noah and Eabha followed closely behind, while Irish names such as Iarlaith, Fiadh and Rian rose in popularity.

Last year the most common surname across the country was Murphy.
