A police officer says the rescue of a preschooler in Western Australia - 18 days after she went missing - is the 'best moment of his career'.
Four year old Cleo Smith was found "alive and well" after disappearing from a campsite, where she was holidaying with her family.

"We asked her what her name was and she said "my name is Cleo" and that was it."
"We walked her out of that house and called her parents".
"My colleague said [to her parents] 'We've got someone here that wants to speak to you'".
Cleo has since been reunited with her family and photographed enjoying an ice-lolly while in bed.
Her mother says the family is 'whole again' in a post on social media.
