An Irish toddler who was found unconscious in a swimming pool in Spain has died.
The 3-year-old boy passed away in hospital today.
On Monday, he was discovered at an apartment complex near Alicante.
It's understood he was on holiday with his family.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it is aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.
