An Irishman is facing an extradition hearing in New York today to face charges over 177 counts of rape involving two minors in Ireland
The alleged abuse is said to have occurred mostly at GAA grounds in the midlands between 2004 and 2009.
The man faces 394 criminal counts overall, including 210 counts of sexual assault.
He left the country in 2013 and was arrested in New York State last week.
An initial court hearing in Albany, New York last week heard that authorities in Ireland are seeking the man's extradition.
He's due to appear in court again later today.
