Irish Designer Invents 'Rain Proof' Clothesline
A Meath inventor has created a 'rain proof' clothes line.
Design engineer Colin O'Brien, appeared on the BBC's Dragons' Den on Thursday night with his PeggyRain idea, a clothes line that protects washing from downpours by deploying a plastic sheet.
It was inspired by his mother who asked him to invent something that would stop her having to run out to bring in the washing every time it rained.
Mr. O'Brien also showed the Dragons his novel ROLLAER suitcase, which doesn't make noise rolling along cobbled streets, and an Anti Theft Bicycle Alarm that goes around the wheel, meaning thieves have to cut the spokes to get at the alarm.
