He continued to say that Irish Embassy staff in Cairo will meet with the Irish citizens and their dependents today.
The Junior Minister continued in the Dáil to say, "we expect additional Irish citizens and dependents in Gaza to be on the list in the coming days, and we are working tirelessly to ensure that all of those who wish to leave will be able to exit as soon as possible."
Previously, the Department of Foreign Affairs said evacuations would be carried out on a country-by-country basis.
Tánaiste Micheal Martin is in Egypt today as part of an impromptu tour of the Middle East.
He will visit the occupied Palestinian territories in the West Bank as well as Israel.
Minister Browne said his focus of the trip is to ensure Emily Hand, an eight-year-old Irish-Israeli girl believed to be held by Hamas in Gaza is released, as well as the plight of the Irish citizens trapped in Gaza.
