An Irish celebrity accused of the defilement of a child more than a decade ago, has been served with a book of evidence and sent forward for trial.
The man, who is in his 30s cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested and charged last month.
The accused faced his second hearing today.
He’s facing three charges of engaging in a sexual act with a child under the age of 17 on dates in 2010 and 2011.
One of the acts is alleged to have taken place in a specific address in Dublin city centre, while the other two are unknown locations – also in Dublin.
Judge Treasa Kelly remanded him on bail on his bond of €500 to appear again at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court on April 20th.
She also set a number of conditions not to go near the alleged injured party either in person or on social media.
The accused addressed the court agreeing to the bail terms and that he had changed his address.
There was no legal aid application.
