Irish and Chinese governments in $100m tech investment

The Irish and Chinese governments are investing 100 million dollars in a fund for Irish technology companies to expand into China.

The fund will invest in young Irish firms to help them expand their businesses into the lucrative Chinese market.

It's the first investment that the Chinese government is partnering directly with another country to invest in the technology sector.

Raymond Yang from WestSummit Capital, which will help to manage the fund, says Irish and Chinese workers have many similarities:
