Irish Actors Nominated For BAFTAs
Irish actors Barry Keoghan, Paul Mescal and Cillian Murphy have been nominated for this year's British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA) awards.
Barry Keoghan has been nominated in the lead actor category for his role in the weird-thriller Saltburn, while he's up against Cillian Murphy as the title character in Oppenheimer.
Paul Mescal is up in the supporting actor category for his role in All of Us Strangers.
The Poor Things - starring Emma Stone - is produced by an Irish company also features, as well as Earth Mama which has Irish producers in Best Debut.
Overall Oppenheimer leads the way with nominations followed by Barbie.
The awards take place in London on February 18th.
