The IRA has for the first time admitted it was responsible for the murder of prison officer Brian Stack.
Brian Stack was Portlaoise's Chief Prison officer when he was shot in Dublin in 1983 - and later died of his injuries.
His family say they welcome the admission - but say many questions are still unanswered.
