An investigation has been launched following the death of a man in his 40s in Co. Laois.
Gardaí say they are investigating all the circumstances surrounding an incident at Wolfhill, at around three o'clock yesterday afternoon.
Post mortem results will determine the course of their investigation, and no other person is being sought in relation to the incident.
The Garda watchdog GSOC and the Office of the State Pathologist has been notified.
