An infant boy and a woman in her 20s have been seriously injured following a crash in Co. Limerick.
It happened at Knocknacarrga, in Cappamore at around 2 o'clock this afternoon.
An infant boy was seriously injured in the collision, along with the driver of the car he was in - a woman in her early 20s.
The boy was airlifted to Cork University Hospital in a serious condition, while the female driver was taken to the same hospital with serious head injuries.
The driver of the other car, a woman in her late 20s, was taken to University Hospital Limerick as a precaution.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses who were traveling through Knocknacarrga at around 2 o'clock this afternoon to contact them.
