Will Smith says he was "out of line and wrong" to slap Chris Rock during the Oscars on Sunday night - and has issued a public apology.
In an Instagram post The Fresh Prince described his actions as "unacceptable and inexcusable".

The actor walked onto stage and slapped Chris Rock after the comedian made a joke about his wife.
Referring to Jada Smith's buzz cut, Rock said he "Can’t wait for GI Jane 2".]

The actress has spoken previously about deciding to shave her head after losing her hair from alopecia.
Will said the joke "was too much" for him to bear and he reacted emotionally.
He concluded his statement by saying he's a work in progress.
The Academy's condemned the attack and opened an investigation.
