Hundreds of protesters have gathered for a demonstration in Dublin city centre calling for action on climate change.
The rally will move to O'Connell Bridge, where organisers, Extinction Rebellion, say they will impact traffic.
Organisers say they are sympathetic to people who will be impacted, but added that it is necessary to send a message.

This protest follows a week of demonstrations in London where hundreds of people have been arrested.
It’s being organised by Extinction Rebellion, who say it’s to send a message to Governments worldwide that action on climate change is critically needed.
