Gardaí are examining a house in the Rathmullan area of Drogheda, Co Louth in connection with the discovery of partial human remains in Dublin.
It's after more body parts were found in Drumcondra overnight.
The discovery was made in the early hours of this morning and Gardai are at the scene on Trinity Terrace, off Clonliffe Avenue.
Gardai say partial body remains have been located in this burnt-out vehicle and due to the nature of the incident it will be some time before proper identification can be confirmed.
The Garda Technical Bureau has been notified and the Office of the State Pathologist and the Coroner have been notified.
The assistance of Forensic Science Ireland will also be sought.
It comes as efforts continue to locate further remains after body parts were found in a bag in Dublin on Monday night.
They were discovered in a residential area of Coolock.
It's believed the body parts could be those of a missing teenager who has been involved in the drugs trade.
Investigating officers are appealing for people who've concerns about missing loved ones to contact them.
It's understood further searches will take place today.
