HSE to Hold Free Flu Vaccine Clinics
The HSE is to hold free nasal flu vaccine walk-in clinics for children.
It follows a rapid rise in cases.
In total, cases have increased from 170 to 283 for all ages - but there's been a rise mainly in those four and under.
The walk-in clinics will be available from December 27th to 29th for two to 17-year-olds.
It comes as the HSE has asked people to limit contact with babies, older and vulnerable people if they have coughs, colds or respiratory illnesses.
The HPSC last week expressed concern over the amount of people in hospital with RSV.
The incidence of the virus hit a record high two weeks ago, and with babies under one accounting for nearly half of all cases.
