The HSE has raised concerns about more people socialising - with a recent positive case having up to 38 close contacts.
It says the positivity rate among close contacts in the community has risen to 27%.
The rate among households has also risen to 35%.
There are now 593 people with Covid-19 being treated in hospitals.
It's the lowest figure recorded since January 2nd, while 135 people are in ICU.
HSE chief executive Paul Reid says they're worried about a rise in close contacts and people being out and about:
He says "Any slight increase can have reasonably significant implications, depending on the level of transmission of the virus".
