The board of St Vincent Healthcare Group is meeting with the Health Service Executive to discuss top-up payments.
It was revealed last month that the Chief Executive of the Dublin hospital is being paid almost €300,000, well in excess of the public salary limit.
The HSE says it will be asking the St Vincent's representatives how it will become compliant with public pay policy.
