The HSE missed its covid-19 vaccination target of having 100,000 doses administered last week.
Just over 81,000 Covid-19 vaccines were received over the past week.
On Thursday, 18,300 doses were administered, which was the highest daily figure of the week.
Meanwhile, less than 2,500 doses were administered on Sunday.
In total, 439,700 injections have taken place, with 141,000 being second doses.
Reasons to be very hopeful. Hospital (475) & ICU (112) nbrs down again. Vaccines showing very positive early signs of effectiveness. Infections amongst the most vulnerable & healthcare workers hugely decreasing. More to go, so let's see this through now. #COVID19 @HSELive

The head of the HSE says there are reasons to be hopeful as the number of Covid-19 patients in hospitals continues to fall.
488 people with Covid-19 are being treated in Irish hospitals, according to latest figures.
It's the lowest number of patients on wards since December 30th, and down 2% on yesterday's figures.
Overnight in ICU there were 115 patients with the disease receiving treatment.
