House prices have risen by 9% over the last year - and are increasing at a faster pace outside the cities.
A new report from Daft.ie shows prices are up by around €24,000 in the last 12 months.
Separate findings from MyHome.ie shows the average asking price nationally is €308,000.
Its report shows prices outside of Dublin were 10% higher during the 3rd quarter of the year, compared to last year.
While prices in the capital were just 7% higher.
