Honda has confirmed it plans to close its factory in Swindon in England in 2021 with the loss of 3,500 jobs.
The Japanese company says it's in response to "unprecedented changes" affecting the car industry.
Honda's announcement made no mention of Brexit, but comes weeks ahead of a possible no-deal departure of the UK from the European Union.
Honda last year produced more than 160,000 cars in Swindon, where it first set up a base in 1985.
