The number of people registered as homeless dropped to 10,253 in May.
That's down 125 from the month previous.
Here's the regional breakdown as provided by the Department of Housing:
3,749 children were living in emergency accommodation during the month of May.
That's 45 fewer than in the month of April.
The number of families who are homeless also saw a drop, down from 1,729 in April to 1,700 last month.
Depaul CEO Kerry Anthony says "we must remember we are coming from a place where we have seen the highest figures ever recorded. We have been here before where figures have gone down only to go up again dramatically. We must not get complacent in our efforts."
