The red carpet has been rolled out in Hollywood ahead of the 71st Annual Golden Globes tonight.

Historical epic 12 Years A Slave is considerd by many as the frontrunner for the top awards including Best Picture and Best Director - with American Hustle and Gravity also in the running.
As for television, Netflix series House of Cards and Liberace bio-pic Behind The Candleabra lead the way with four nominations apiece.
