The High Court has dismissed a challenge against the result in the Children's Rights referendum.
The court has dismissed a petition taken by a woman trying to overturn the result.
Joanna Jordan had claimed that the outcome had been influenced by the government's information booklet, which was found to have contained biased language in favour of a Yes vote.
However the challenge has now been dismissed, meaning the amendment can be officially signed into law and become part of the Constitution.
Mr Justice McDermott said he had "extreme doubts" about allowing an appeal on the grounds of the earlier ruling, which found that the information booklet distributed by the government had been biased and an unfair use of public funds.
