The High Court has adjourned a decision on whether documents provided to the Office of Director of Corporate Enforcement by the FAI are legally privileged.
The material includes legal advice provided by FAI interim CEO Rea Walshe, who is also a solicitor, to the organisation.
The ODCE is currently investigating what it calls "certain matters" regarding Irish soccer's governing body.
Ms. Justice Leonie Reynolds adjourned the matter last week to allow both sides to make further submissions.
They returned to court this morning, and agreed to seek more time.
Ms. Justice Leonie Reynolds has adjourn the matter for six weeks.
