Heroin worth €700,000 has been seized in Dublin.
It was recovered at the Bawnlea housing estate in Jobstown, Tallaght last night.
The raid was carried out by members of the District detective unit.
It was conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale and distribution of illegal drugs in west Tallaght.
A man in his 30s was arrested at the scene, and taken to Tallaght Garda Station for questioning.
He is expected to appear before a sitting of Tallaght District Court shortly to face charges in connection with the case.
