Helicopter Crashes In Westmeath
A helicopter has crashed in Westmeath.
The incident took place this afternoon in Killucan in Joristown when it's believed a helicopter hit a building.
Emergency services were told of the crash at 3.30pm this afternoon.
Gardaí say it is a live and ongoing operation.
The Air Accident Investigation Unit says it has been notified of an incident involving a single engine helicopter this afternoon.
It said a team of inspectors has been deployed to Westmeath.
It's understood there are multiple serious injuries.
