Motorists are being advised to take care on the roads this morning following heavy overnight rain in many parts.
Widespread wet road conditions has left excess surface water in some area and drivers are being urged to slow down and take extra care.
AA Roadwatch say the worst affected areas are in Carlow where Maryborough St in Greycullen is impassable due to flooding.
There's excess surface water on the N7 Dublin/Limerick Rd in both directions at Junction 7.
In Cork, Park Rd and Longfield Bridge in Mallow are closed due to flooding while the Mill Rd in Fermoy is impassable.
