The Health Minister says cheaper antigen tests will be made available "very shortly" - but hasn't been able to give an exact date.
New restrictions to reduce the rates of Covid will see a curfew for the hospitality sector take effect tomorrow.
While everyone will be asked to work from home from this Friday.

Minister Stephen Donnelly said cheaper lateral flow test will not take weeks or months and promised they'll be available very shortly.
He expects the tests to cost "several hundred million euro" to subsidize but said its an initiative he supports.
