A cash sniffer dog has recovered 55,000 euro in a joint garda and customs operation in Cork.
Harvey the sniffer dog also recovered 30 kilos of tobacco in an operation yesterday.
The search followed the seizure of 60,000 unstamped cigarettes and a car in the Watergrasshill area of Cork.
The haul represents a potential loss to the exchequer of more than €31,000 euro.
