Britain's Prince Harry and Meghan Markle say they intend to step back as ‘senior’ members of the Royal Family.
They've revealed they want to work to become financially independent.
In a statement, the couple says they plan to balance their time between the UK and North America going forward as they carve out a new 'progressive' role.
They believe this will allow them to raise their son with an appreciation for the royal tradition he was born into, and give them space to launch their new charitable entity.
