Government TDs are divided over the role of Enda Kenny in the failed referendum on the Seanad.
A number of cabinet ministers have suggested that the Taoiseach should have taken part in a live TV debate - but others believe it's wrong to personally blame him for the defeat.
Meanwhile as the fallout from the referendum continues - attention is now turning to the Seanad itself and the ways it should be reformed.
