Google has reportedly blocked Chinese tech giant Huawei from using apps like Gmail and YouTube on its new smartphones.
Huawei relies on the Google-developed Android operating system to power its mobile devices.
But the company says people with current Huawei devices will still have access and get updates.
Huawei will instead be restricted to using a public version of the operating system called Android Open Source Project, which does not include standard Google apps like Gmail, Google Maps, Google Photos and YouTube.
Google says it's had to comply with a US government order aiming to limit the firm's access to data.
Huawei has yet to comment.
