Ireland is the most Generous Country in the world, according to GoFundMe.
The site has revealed that half a million people in Ireland have donated to their campaigns.
Since 2016 alone more than €30 million has been donated via GoFundMe.
Meanwhile, campaigns started in Ireland grew by more than 50% in 2018 compared to the previous year.
The campaign to raise funds for the recovery of Sean Cox was among the biggest campaigns in Ireland.
