Over €12,400 has been raised for two Ukrainian refugees, whose car was broken into at a Dublin hotel.
The couple were staying in the Travelodge in Ballymun after fleeing the war in Kyiv.
Anass and Olena packed up their belongings at the first sight of the bombing and travelled almost 5,000 kilometres to Ireland.
After finally reaching safety and finding shelter in Dublin, they discovered their car had been smashed into yesterday morning.
Among the items taken were a laptop, tablet, guitar, clothes and shows.
Olena says they were informed that there is "no way they can get compensated" as their insurance company is impossible to reach.
