The Girls in Green will be welcomed home from Australia with a reception on Dublin's O'Connell Street this evening.
The Women's World Cup homecoming begins at 6.30pm and supporters are being encouraged to use public transport.
Luas services between Dominick and St. Stephen's Green will be suspended from half two because of the event.
Today FM's Dave Moore followed them through Australia on the Outbelieve Tour and hosts the event later:
" I'm just looking forward to looking out across the people the sea of people who will be there.
"Because we've been so far away from it, but realising how much this tournament and this team means to the people of Ireland.
"And particularly I think the young girls of Ireland because look, it's been incredible to be in Australia and follow this team around and see the support that's there.
"But you know, really and truly, it's the support that couldn't travel that still got up and watched the games."
