Hollywood actor Gene Hackman and his wife have been found dead.
The bodies of the 95-year-old and his wife Betsy Arakawa were discovered at their home in Santa Fe in New Mexico on Wednesday.
The couple's dog was also found dead.
Police in the US say they don't believe there was any foul play.
The two-time Oscar-winner famously played Lex Luthor in the original Superman films in the 1970s and 80s.
He also won four Golden Globes and a Screen Actors Guild Award in a career which spanned six decades.
During an acceptance speech at the 2003 Golden Globes, he said his dreams came true when he became an actor.
"So few people ever get what they really want in life.
"You give up a lot in terms of family, you're always in North Africa or Spain or someplace. I fulfilled a lot of my dreams."
