Gardai are waiting to interview a woman in her 40s, who is being treated in hospital, after the deaths of three children in County Dublin.
The bodies of 9-year-old Conor, 7-year-old Darragh, and 3-year-old Carla McGinley were found in their home at Parson's Court in Newcastle on Friday evening.
A woman was discovered at the scene and was admitted to Tallaght hospital where she is in a stable condition.
Post mortem examinations have been completed but gardaí won't be releasing the results for operational reasons.
Tusla says it has activated its critical response procedure and will be offering support through schools, counselling services, family support services and local groups in the area.
