Gardai are urging people to socialize responsibly over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The warning comes after large crowds of people gathered in Cork, Galway and Dublin last weekend.
The Chief Medical Officer said the crowds were "enormous" and compared them to an open air party.
Hundreds of extra bins and toilets have been installed in Dublin.
Funding has also been provided to local authorities across the country to do the same.
Over the June Bank Holiday Weekend, Gardai will be patrolling popular spots like parks and beaches.
They're also warning that they will disperse crowds if there's concern over public safety.
