A murder investigation is formally underway following the fatal stabbing of a grandfather in Dublin.
55-year-old Michael Gannon was attacked yesterday evening while babysitting his two grandchildren in Skerries.

A 29-year-old Romanian man is still being questioned by Gardai in connection with the incident.
Gardai, who are following a definite line of inquiry, are now trying to establish a motive for the killing.
