Gardaí say they've made contact with, and spoken to, a man connected to the woman and two children found dead at a house in South Dublin.
The bodies of 37-year-old Seema Banu, her 11-year old daughter Asfira, and 6-year old son Faizan were discovered in their home at Llewellyn Court, Ballinteer yesterday morning.
They moved to the area in the past year, with both children attending a nearby school.
Gardaí say the case is still being treated as "unexplained" and no arrests have been made.
Post mortem examinations are due to take place on the bodies of the mother and her children today.
