Gardai have seized nearly €178,000 worth of cash and uncovered a cocaine-processing laboratory in Galway.
It followed separate searches in the county yesterday.
Shortly before 8 o'clock last night, gardai stopped and searched a car on the M6 near Loughrea, where nearly €17,600 worth of cash was seized.
As part of a follow-up search in Galway city, officers uncovered a suspected cocaine-processing laboratory and seized cocaine worth about €50,000.

At this address, several items were recovered, including a cocaine press, vacuum packer and a cash-counting machine.
Gardai believe they're used in the manufacture of the drug for sale or supply.
In another follow-up search, €161,000 in cash was seized in a separate property in Galway city.
Two men in their 20s and 30s have been arrested in connection with the separate discoveries and they're in Garda custody.
