Gardai say a file is being prepared for the DPP following a large wedding party in Longford.
Around 100 people are believed to have been at the event which was held at a marquee in the town yesterday.
Members of An Garda Siochana did monitor the party at Willow Park.
Gardai say they will issue fines to people who broke covid-19 regulations to attend the celebrations.
A Garda spokesperson says "An Garda Síochána attended at the scene, monitored an event that took place at this location and will enforce breaches of COVID-19 regulations detected, in particular current travel restrictions.
An Garda Síochána will prepare a file for the DPP in respect of this event."
Martin Collins, Co-Director of Pavee Point Traveller & Roma Centre, says it's very "alarming and disappointing" to see that such a large event went ahead.
Mr Collins says he is pleading with members of his own community to "display a little bit more responsibility to protect themselves" from covid-19.
